Seed of Change was organized as part of Founders’ Remembrance Week 2025, in collaboration with Arulagam NGO, to inspire ecological stewardship among students through native seed nurturing and biodiversity conservation.

The initiative marked the beginning of a long-term seed-to-sapling program, engaging first-year students of KCT in nurturing 3,000 native saplings. The journey began with Naval (Jamun) seedlings, designated as the Tree of the Year 2025 by the Tamil Nadu Government, reinforcing the message of ecological restoration and climate resilience.
The event featured an insightful session by Mr. Bharathidasan from Arulagam, who discussed seed collection, seed banking, and native species preservation — instilling awareness on the significance of conserving local biodiversity.
