MoU with the University of Reading, UK, during the International Summit on Young Leaders for a Climate Smart Future, reflects a shared commitment to advancing sustainability-focused education, collaborative research, and global academic engagement.
The summit brought together 250 school students from 10 schools, demonstrating a strong institutional focus on nurturing climate-conscious leadership from an early stage. By integrating global academic collaboration with grassroots youth participation, the event bridged higher education and school-level climate engagement.
A key outcome of the summit was the launch of YICAN – Young India Climate Action Network, a long-term platform designed to empower young minds to take informed and meaningful climate action. This initiative strengthens international partnerships while building a continuous pathway for climate education, leadership development, and collective environmental responsibility across institutions and schools.
