Project Description

A two-day residential camp on Climate Change and Sustainability was organized for National Green Corps representatives, bringing together 45 students from over 30 schools across Coimbatore District. The camp provided an immersive learning experience, allowing students to explore Kumaraguru’s sustainability initiatives and participate in expert-led sessions on environmental stewardship.

The students engaged in interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and workshops designed to deepen their understanding of climate change, conservation, and sustainable practices. A highlight of the camp was a field visit to the Forest Campus and the Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve, where they observed rich biodiversity and ongoing conservation efforts. This real-world exposure helped them gain insights into ecological preservation and the importance of maintaining natural habitats.
