The survey, conducted in Phase 2, recorded an impressive 9,033 birds of 232 species within the Coimbatore Forest Division, highlighting the rich avian diversity of the region. The students contributed valuable data on bird populations and their habitats, enhancing scientific understanding and conservation efforts.

Ahead of the survey, students attended an orientation session at the Central Academy for State Forest Service, where they gained insights into bird identification techniques and data recording methods.Through such initiatives, Kumaraguru Institutions continue to foster a deep connection with nature while encouraging students to engage in meaningful conservation efforts.
