Pariyur Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) is a women-led initiative established by Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture (KIA) in collaboration with the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED) to support climate-smart dairy farming in the Gobichettipalayam block of Erode District. This FPO is dedicated to empowering women farmers who are livestock owners by providing essential services to improve dairy farming efficiency and sustainability.
With a strong focus on nutrition, breeding, healthcare, and advisory services, the FPO aims to enhance dairy animal productivity, ensuring higher milk yields and better profitability for farmers. Additionally, by adopting climate-smart farming techniques, it strives to reduce the environmental impact of dairy farming while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
