Conducted over 10 days, the screenings extended across Global Pathway School (GPS), Kumaraguru campuses, and Samathur village, creating learning opportunities in both institutional and rural community settings. The sessions were designed not only as film viewings but as platforms for reflection and dialogue. Each screening was followed by interactive discussions that encouraged participants to interpret environmental narratives and relate them to local realities. The initiative enabled students and young audiences to explore themes of climate change, sustainable living, and ecological responsibility. By connecting campuses and communities through shared learning experiences, the program strengthened ecological awareness, empathy, and a sense of collective responsibility toward protecting the environment.

Key Highlights

10-day environmental film screening outreach initiative

Collaboration between ALT EFF and Kumaraguru Institutions

Engagement of 100+ students and children

Screenings conducted at Global Pathway School, Kumaraguru campuses, and Samathur village

Interactive discussions encouraging environmental awareness and reflection

Focus Areas

Environmental Education | Community Outreach

Overview The ALT EFF environmental film screening initiative created a platform for environmental outreach and dialogue by engaging students and community members through cinema.
