30th Batch of 40+ Forest Range Officer trainees from the Central Academy for State Forest Service (CASFOS) underwent a three-day intensive Motor Mechanics Training Programme in Kumaraguru Campus. The training was designed by the Department of Automobile Engineering, combining theory with hands-on workshops covering engine systems, lubrication, vehicle inspection, servicing, and electric vehicle maintenance. The training strengthened technical readiness, reduced field downtime, and enhanced officers’ confidence—contributing to the capacity building and professional excellence of India’s forest service.
