Overview
Kumaraguru Institutions launched the Sustainability Intelligence Dashboard, a unified digital platform that brings campus climate and environmental data together to support data-driven sustainability management. Developed by the student team from Kumaraguru School of Innovation (KSI), the initiative highlights the role of student innovation and technology in advancing environmental monitoring and informed decision-making.
About
The Sustainability Intelligence Dashboard provides a centralized platform to monitor key environmental indicators, including carbon emissions, energy, water, waste, green cover, outreach, live weather, and air quality. Developed through the efforts of KSI students, the platform transforms campus environmental data into actionable insights, supporting continuous monitoring and more informed sustainability decisions. The dashboard was launched by Tmt. Sudha Ramen, IFS, Deputy Conservator of Forests and Additional Director, Tamil Nadu Forest Academy, Coimbatore. The launch was followed by an engaging panel discussion on “Technology for Conservation,” which explored how technological innovation can strengthen conservation efforts and enable smarter environmental action. The initiative marks a step towards integrating real-time data, digital innovation, and sustainability management within the campus ecosystem.
